Original summary: As a user I want to search on Sprint start and end dates.

      Problem Definition

As a user I can see that the JIRA issue shows the Sprint information as well as the end dates on the issue.

However, I would also like to be able to search for Sprint start and end dates on jql.
This feature is currently not available.

Yes please!  Especially if I cannot filter by sprint start / end dates (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72007), at least I could export the issue filter results and filter in excel.  (Which in itself is sad that I'd have to export data to filter the way I need to, but at least it would be better than nothing.)

I would like this feature also.  I have been asked to provide the dates when individual tickets will be completed.  Sprint names do not mean anything to upper management.

Yes please! This will be really helpful for performing lookups via JQL in Confluence then massaging via a Confluence pivot macro.

For my use case I have a series of epics whose child issues (via parent link) I want to report on via a Confluence page and sort these by sprint dates, but I can't :/
