      For notification and query reporting purposes, it would be very useful to be able to query the end date of the current sprint in order to have filters which would send notifications or give reports as the end of the sprint is drawing near.

      Example: Using jira notification assistant based on a JQL query to send a reminder for all remaining issues assigned to you which are not completed a few days before a sprint ends.

            [JSWSERVER-12891] Ability to query (JQL) end date of current active sprint

            Dear All

            I do not know if this is a work-around for you, as well. I assembled an automatition rule that sets the issue's due date to the sprint end date - each time I assign an issue to a sprint. The formula for that looks like this: {{ issue.Sprint.endDate.jiraDate }}

            Thus, I can use the due dates of the issues to do further tricks whilst dealing with the JQL filters, like sending reminders and stuff. Of course, you can use any other date field as well for this.

            However, to make this work, it is required that the sprint dates are set before assigning issues to them, and after that they should not be touched again.

            Greetings
            Christian
