Having the ability to set constraints on the different columns for controlling the WIP and flow through the process is a good thing, however, with a mid-sized team of around 10 people, I'd really like the option of making the constraint values on a column be "Per-user" constraints. If it could be adjustable for each column on the board, so much the better. Currently if I set the MAX constraint to "N" (Number of team members), assuming WIP for each user should be 1, then if a user has 2, but the value is still under "N", the constraint would not be violated, even though the intended constraint is being breached.

There might also need to be some changes made on how that user shows up in the swimlanes/columns, so this may be more than just a simple change.
