      Problem Definition

Kanban is designed without Backlog, since there is no sprint planning in Kanban. This means that every issues belong to that board will be shown. This could lead to having to load many issues (based on board filter) at one time.

      Suggested Solution

It would be great to have the option to limit the number of issues shown in Kanban board at one time. Perhaps based on the due date or priority. This will allow users to focus on working on the prioritized issues, and this will make the board more manageable.

[JSWSERVER-12869] Ability to limit the issues shown on Active Sprint mode of Kanban Board

This Suggestion will be satisfied by the backlog for Kanban boards currently in development and tracked by GHS-6175.

Indeed it would be great if it was possible to manage many issues and keep them away from the board until the time was right. Limiting the number of issues the team actually sees.

It would also be nice if this worked for boards that have issues from multiple Jira projects.
