      Problem Definition

      In many use-cases, stories and other chile issues of epic may share common values for certain fields, there is currently no facility available in JIRA to copy values over from parent epic or other linked issues e.g. copying over fix version from parent Epic.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide facility to copy over field values from Epics or other linked issues.

      Workaround

      Third party solution available with https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JMWE/Post-functions#Post-functions-8-CopyFieldValuetoLinkedIssuesFunction(newin3.0)
