Parallel sprints should be configurable on a per board or per project basis, not just a global setting

      Summary

      We have a team interested to do parallel sprints in JIRA Agile. Currently it seems like a global setting for the entire instance.

      Suggestion

      It would be great to be able to enable these on a per board, per project or few project basis.

            WE have been running Jira for long time at using parallel sprints. Now we are integrating Jira Align, and it would be helpfull if we at the same time could "disallow" parallel sprints. This need to be done on a pr board basis as far as I can see it. Project will do but the other is properly more straight forward. Wioth the current way it is nearly impossible to go from having parallel sprints enabled to disable them.

            Yes, please.

            We have some teams that would like to run parallel sprints and some that do not.
            I know the "workaround" is to enable it for the system and just have the teams that do not want parallel sprints to not run them and just don't create them - but.... (sigh) .

            is there a downside to allowing parallel sprints?  if i enable this, does it alter the way current teams handle their sprints?
