Days in Column value offset by a large incorrect amount when status transitioned to is the same as source.

I came across an issue similar to what is mentioned in GHS-10110. I have seen a couple of mentions of it but no mention as to the cause.

In my case there is a specific action that is causing the large offset in the value of Days in Column and that is transitioning to the same status the issue is currently in. e.g. Issue is in "In Progress" and you transition to "In Progress". The vaule of the "Days in Column" changes to 16434. Not that this value is slightly different for different statuses.

Transitioning to the same status is something that is possible in workflows that allow transition from "All" to a status, such an agile simplified workflow.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create or use a project with an agile simplified workflow.
2. On a Kanban board, transition an issue to the same status it is currently in.
3. View Days in Column

The impact of this issue is not very high as the actual data of the days spend in each column seem to be correct and it is only the display value and dot bar that is offset incorrectly. Transitioning the issue to any other status and then back corrects Days in Column value.
