When exporting a list of issues out of JIRA, and trying to pull out the Epic Link field, I would like the Epic Issue ID in JIRA to appear in that column, so I can easily matchup to the actual Epic issue in JIRA.

[JSWSERVER-11513] Include the issue key of the epic when exporting the Epic Link field in issue search results

            Hi everyone,

I'm closing this issue as Obsolete. As of Jira 7.3.x, exporting to CSV should show issue keys of Epics under Epic Link column. Exporting to HTML still shows Epic Name though.

Please refer to JSWSERVER-15878 for more info.

            Hi Michael,

Sorry for not stating that in my description - right now what we see is the Epic Name field.

So for example say we have an Epic issue with an ID of BENTEST-15, and an Epic Name of - Ben's Bug Request. When I go to use the Issue search, and want to pull down the 'Epic Link' for an issue it just displays the Ben's Bug Request, with a hyperlink to that issue in JIRA.

But when I export that list all that displays in the CSV or excel output is 'Ben's Bug Request', I'd like to see it include the Issue ID, either replacing or in addition to the epic name.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

            Thanks,
            Ben

Thank you for reporting this ben151. What do you current get when you export the Epic Link field?
