When using stories for swimlanes it would be helpful if you can drag the standard issue across columns to transition it through workflow

Workflow: We use standard issues to define new features, bugs, enhancements, and tasks. Most standard issues are further broken down into sub-tasks that various team members work on. We're looking to JIRA Agile to give us a better window into the status of any one of our sprints.

Initially, we configured our sprint board swimlanes to use stories. This provides the cleanest representation of our sprint backlog. However, we also need to be able to transition the standard issue through workflow. Currently, this cannot be done on the JIRA Agile work board via drag and drop if the standard issue contains sub-tasks. In addition, the work board does not depict the status of the standard issue if it contains sub-tasks.

It would be very helpful to be able to do the following even when using stories as swimlanes.

1. visualize which column the standard issue when it has sub-tasks
2. drag the standard issue to the appropriate column to transition through workflow
