jrhoads - unfortunately this is a regression, we have created an issue to track this at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-12715 and will address it as a priority.

Is it possible that this fix made the projected line disappear when you mouse into the chart to the right of "today"?

Still an issue here on JIRA v6.3.15, JIRA Agile v6.6.13

I can confirm this is still an issue here, with JIRA Agile 6.7.11 (running on JIRA 6.4.11 - Server version).

I would also be very interested in seeing some information on which "conditions" this might not happen under (ref. "Occurrence Factor 50% - affects most of users but it depends on certain conditions"). Could anyone from Atlassian care to comment on this, even if no fix is in the pipeline?

Am also witnessing this bug and have done for a while. Willing to help out in anyway to get this fixed. We are on the cloud version.

It is affecting our report as well. I would also like to know what the conditions are that cause this issue?

I agree with Jarno Ahola - this isn't a minor bug; the resulting projections are not only inaccurate without this information, they are dangerous. This 'minor' bug essentially makes all the pretty projection functionality useless at best, dangerous at worst.
