As a user, I would like to configure which custom fields can appear when using the 'Create Epic' screen

I am discriminating between two of my product backlogs by use of a custom field, which identifies the hardware type that the issue applies to.

However, though I can populate the custom field when I raise the issue as an epic, via the normal 'Create issue' dialog, it is not possible when I press create Epic.
Because my AgileBoard is based upon a filter which finds issues with a particular value in this custom field, and I have not had an opportunity to set the field, the newly created epic does not appear in the board.

Therefore can custom fields be added to the creation of the epic?
