It would be really great if in planning mode if the quick filters also filtered epics and versions. That way you can make a custome project board add labels to all the stories and then when you "quick" filtered based off label the planning board version/epic would only show if they had a story with that label in them. The same it works when you click on a epic today you only see the stories in the sprints that relate to that epic.
