Allow user to configure Quick Filters that provide dynamic filtering by value for a particular field

      It would be really nice to be able to "group" Quick Filters in the Rapid Board, creating some sort of dropdown. Best solution would be similar to the filtering implemented now in the JIRA Issue Navigator's simple search.

      Background:

      • when you have to filter for a lot of projects and more than 3 team members, it gets very messy and cluttered, especially on smaller screens (covered by GHS-9272);
      • at the moment Quick Filters have to be modified every time there's a change in the team or project priorities.

            Hello! We are stronly looking for a quick filter for categories, assignees, issue types and custom fields with enumerations.
            Please note that freely defineable groups of quick filters are addressed in GHS-5563 - which is not what we are looking for (because we do not want to maintain these groups).

            I just had this thought today myself. We have a few quick filters that are exclusive in respect to each other. This would also clean up the filters per user to a single drop down. We'd love this feature.

            Yes ability to group quick filters and/or provide the ability to let User specify input for quick filters would be extremely valuable!

            Yes, having a way to group quick filters so that they're not a giant list at the top of the board would be great. We'd love to have that feature too.
