Description
Scenario:
Currently, the GitHub for Jira App Integration fetches the list of all the repositories available in the GitHub for the account.
In this scenario, for e.g. IF a repository is marked as Private in GitHub, it will still be available in Jira for the users who doesn't have access to this repository on GitHub. It is shown while creating the Branch from Jira issue view > Create Branch.
Expected solution:
It would be good to implement some form of restriction such that, Private repositories of GitHub remains Private as well in GitHub for Jira app integration.
Workaround:
Select "Only specific repositories" in GitHub for Jira App integration (Apps > Manage Apps > GitHub for Jira > 3 dots > Configure > It will redirect to Github settings > Applications), however this option will hide the repositories from all the users in Jira and in future, Admins will have to keep on adding the new repositories to be shown in Jira.
