Address loss of vertical space in Jira Cloud

Problem Definition

The New Jira Cloud navigation has taken up 56px of vertical screen space across all Jira Cloud products and has reduced the amount of space for viewing issues on the Backlog, and Board (Active sprints or Kanban). Described as:

This is a developer’s most used view. I love the issue sidebar because it makes effective use of screen space, allowing me to see issue details without leaving the board. I wish the navigation followed this convention.

Suggested Solution

We have already received some feedback and interest in addressing this problem from multiple comments gathered in the feedback channel. This request is being created to collect feedback on what areas in Jira require more screen real estate to help users get their work done more efficiently.
