The Old Board/Backlog view and the Enhanced Board/Backlog View have different behaviours when we create an issue from the Backlog.
In the Old Board/Backlog view, when we create an Issue from Backlog. We can choose All Issues of Level 0 and above.
However, when we enable the Enhanced Board/Backlog view when we create an Issue from Backlog. We can only choose All Issues of Level 0. This is not documented in the Public Blog for the new changes:
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Kanban Board in the company-managed Project.
- In the Project issue Type Scheme select Issue from Issue Hierarchy Level -1, Level 0, Level 1 and above.
- When creating a new Issue from the Old Board Backlog. We can choose All Issues of Level 0 and above.
- Enabled the enhanced Board/Backlog.
- When creating a new Issue from the Enhanced Board Backlog. We can only choose All Issues of Level 0.
Expected Results
The Old Board/Backlog view and the Enhanced Board/Backlog View should list the same issue Type when creating the Issue from the Backlog.
Actual Results
In the Old Board/Backlog view, when we create an Issue from Backlog. We can choose All Issues of Level 0 and above.
However, when we enable the Enhanced Board/Backlog view when we create an Issue from Backlog. We can only choose All Issues of Level 0. **
