Issue Summary
A user has Browse Projects permission through Current assignee/User custom field value/Group custom field value.
If the setup is created in a way that a user has access to sub-tasks only and cannot browse the parent issue, then even the sub-tasks disappear from the board Enhance my board and backlog feature is enabled.
Steps to Reproduce
- Update the permission scheme of a project and provide Browse projects permission to Current assignee.
- Create sub-tasks and assign them to any user.
- Ensure that the parent of the sub-tasks is NOT assigned to the above user.
- Have the user access the board with Enhance my board and backlog feature enabled.
Note: The permission could apply in general and is not restricted to the assignee or the subtasks as some users have reported that this is happening also when having access to the parent issue.
Expected Results
Sub-tasks should be visible on the board as the user has access to those issues.
Actual Results
Gaps are observed on the board instead of the
Workaround
Currently, the available workaround is to disable the Enhance my board and backlog feature for the user account for them to visualize all the issues that they have access to.
