Description
The Group by: Label option in Advanced Roadmaps currently only groups items which have the label applied, and any children of that label applied parent are not included. They instead end up in All other issues.
This creates the following scenario:
Given
- An Epic, Foo Epic, with a label applied
- A child of Foo Epic exists called Foo Child
- Foo Child does not have the label applied
- An Advanced Roadmap uses Group by: Label, using the label applied to Foo Epic
We create a roadmap that looks like
- My Custom Label Group
- Foo Epic
- All other issues
- Foo Epic
- Foo Child
- Foo Epic
As a roadmap owner, I would like the option to include all children of Foo Epic without needing to apply the label to those children.
The workaround is to apply labels to those children, but this creates unnecessary administrative overhead, even assuming the use of automation or bulk changes.
