As an admin of Jira next-gen software projects, I'd like to be able to automatically add new or existing issues to next-gen Kanban boards using Jira Automation actions.

Creating issues using Jira automation and then manually having to move them to the next-gen Kanban board is unnecessarily time-consuming and inefficient. The current alternative of enabling sprints is not a suitable solution as sprints are too heavy for many use cases.

For context, this feature has been initially discussed in multiple Atlassian Community Question posts [1] [2] and there is an open issue and closed issue in the AUT Public Tracker project that have been referenced by Atlassian employees Charlie Gavey and John McKiernan, respectively.
