Misleading error message when clone issue fails due to required field

Issue Summary

When a customer is cloning an issue that has a required field "Fix versions", the cloning process will fail with an ambiguous/misleading error message as the fix version is archived in the source issue.

 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Clone an issue that has a required Fix versions field for that issue type.
2. Make sure that the Fix version is archived in the source issue.

Expected Results

An error message stating "Error occurred while creating issue through workflow: 'Fix Version/s' field is required." should appear as in the old issue view.

Actual Results

The cloning process will fail with an ambiguous/misleading error.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
