Assigning to removed user (based on project role) in Automation For Jira leads to failure of Automation Rule - Automation component Assign Issue considers inactive users in project roles

      Issue Summary

       

      Automation rule configured to assign to users within a project role in a round robin style, fails when attempting to automatically assign to a former user who still appears in a project role table.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create automation rule to assign issue to a project role that contains a removed user
      2. Run Automation rule until it assigns the issue to a user who was in a project role who has been removed and observe the rule will fail.

      Expected Results

      That any removed users are not included in the user picker for project role, thus preventing the rule from failing.

      Actual Results

      Rule Fails with error message that the issue could not be assigned to the removed user in the Automation For Jira audit log.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
