Description
Issue Summary
If you un-release a version\release in JIRA that has already triggered a Bamboo build and then attempt to re-release electing to trigger a new build in Bamboo, the release will fail indicating that JIRA can't contact Bamboo.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a release in JIRA
- Associate an issue with the release via the fixVersion field
- Commit changes to a repository being synchronized via DVCS including the issue key associated with the release in the commit message
- Create a build plan in Bamboo that uses the same repository
- Release and choose to a trigger a new build in Bamboo
- Unrelease the version\release from the JIRA Releases page via the Actions ellipses menu.
- Release the version again and choose to trigger a new Bamboo build
Expected Results
A new Bamboo build is triggered.
Actual Results
JIRA complains it can't contact Bamboo.
Workaround
We discovered that this can be fixed by renaming the fix version and also clearing browser cache and relogging on to jira.
