Resolution: Won't Fix
It would be useful if on the ticket layout the linked tickets were separated into two fields: Causes and Affects. It can be confusing that the causes is above a block or dependency. Humans natural read down the page and typically assume things will be in order.
Additionally, it would be nice if in Epic and Parent tickets to reorder the Jira tickets displayed and have that be "remembered." Even better would be if the dependencies forced specific orders although that may be more difficult.
