Problem Definition

Automation now supports the use of development activity triggers such as 'Branch created' or 'Commit created'. However, it's not currently possible to leverage actions or conditions based on the user that created the branch or commit in the VCS.

As an example, the rule below does not assign the issue to the user that created the branch. It remains unassigned.

Suggested Solution

Add support for mapping the user that performed the creation in the VCS for use in automation rules.
