SCOPE OF THE FEATURE

• Time reminder is the feature where an issue creator can set a time to remind the assignee of the issue to complete the task before the deadline. If time reminder was not set by ticket creator then the ticket assignee can add reminder time to get notified before the end date of the task.
• By this feature issue assignee will almost never miss assigned task.

STORY WHEN ISSUE CREATOR SETUP REMINDER

• Bill is creating an Issue for John and the issue needs to be completed on current day, while creating the Issue, Bill added (reminder time 3:00 PM) to remind John to complete the task before day ends.
• At 3:00 PM John gets an email or desktop notification to complete the task, John sees the notification and completes the task

STORY WHEN ASSIGNEE OF THE ISSUE SETUP THE REMINDER

• Bill is creating an Issue for John and the issue needs to be completed on current day, while creating issue Bill didn't add a reminder time for john to complete the task before day ends.
• As John receives email or desktop notification that an issue has been assigned to you, John him self adds a 3:00 PM time as a reminder on that issue to start work.
• At 3:00 PM John gets an email or desktop notification to complete the task, John sees the notification and completes the task.

WORKFLOW

1. In issue creation screen or popup there will be two more fields available one is to set reminder time and the other is to reminder date.
2. Issue create will select date to set the reminder. (Date format and Timezone handling will be required)
3. Issue creator will set reminder time (Time format and Timezone handling will be required).
4. When the reminder day and time comes, issue assignee will get reminder email or desktop notification.
5. Option to snooze desktop notification will be available.
6. If the assignee is not taking action on issue even after the reminder, issue creator will be notified through email or desktop notification.
