Resolution: Won't Fix
When we use the quick issue creation available on Jira Software Classic boards, if there is a required field, we are redirected to the issue create screen.
It is expected since the quick issue creation does not support required fields, we can only enter the issue's summary from the quick issue creation screen.
However, when it happens, the issue create screen will not keep the selected issue type during the quick issue creation process, you will need to change the issue type value once more.
It would be great if the quick issue creation could somehow send the issue type information to the create issue screen, with this, the user would not need to select the issue type once more.
