Unable to Start Sprint if the originating board is deleted.

      Summary

      • Sprint cannot be started if the original board was deleted where the Sprint is initially created.

      Steps to replicate:

      • Create Two boards in a scrum project and name it as board A and B.
      • Now create Sprint in Board A with some Jira issues. This Sprint should reflect on the board B
      • Delete board A and try to start the Sprint in board B
      • You will receive the following error:

      Background

      • Sprints are global entities that exist across many boards, even if its originating board has been deleted.

      Workaround:

      • Create a new Sprint on the same board and move the issues to the new Sprint. You will be able to start the Sprint.
