Here I am doing some practice in my lab and I ran into this obnoxious autocomplete! I turned off everything possible in the Chrome settings and mac settings thinking that was the issue. Finally ran into this ticket.

This seems like an obvious fix - I'm just curious as to why it is taking so long to roll it out? 

This is extremely frustrating everywhere a name field is used and in many other locations throughout the Jira application.

Can't autocompletre be globally disabled everywhere to start and eventually maybe a user setting to enable/disable if anyone actually complains it is gone?

Now is December 2021. Same shit. I don't wish to disable autofill for Chrome since I use it in other apps, outside Jira. 

I am also adding to this, that I am experiencing the same exact issue in Jira Cloud, and this is very unfortunate because I'm trying to provide a demo to users of why they should utilize the same project and have multiple boards for similar grouped work and teams wanting to categorize the types of work in a support structure. This is not helping me convince them that this is a cleaner and more optimal approach for clean configurations and bounded context teams working together.

Please fix this.

This issue is incredibly annoying and would be incredibly easy to fix. Sad that this has sat open for 18 months.
