Allow to edit issue color when creating Epic in team-managed (formerly next-gen) project

While creating an Epic in a team-managed (formerly next-gen) project, I would like to edit the color of that issue.

While I can configure view "Create issue" to show field "Issue color", the actual field cannot be edited. Instead, the default color is only shown.

It would be nice if the color value was editable.
