At the moment, we can focus on the statuses either of stories or of subtasks on the next-gen Sprint board; but not on both at the same time:

When we group the issues on the next-gen board by "None", we see all the stories and are able to manage their statuses by moving the stories to the corresponding columns. For instance, we can move a story from column To Do to column In Progress to change its status accordingly. However, when grouping by "None", no subtasks are shown.

As soon as we group the issues by subtask, subtasks are shown and we can move those subtasks across the board. However, then it is not possible anymore to move stories that have subtasks. Only stories without subtasks can be moved across the board.

Is there any way to show stories and their corresponding subtasks on the next-gen board at the same time – and to be able to move both stories and subtasks between the columns?
