We are using next gen boards without sprints turned on. I have added the due date field to all issues types. However, you can only see the due date when the specific issue is open. The due date is also not visible when looking at the issues inside of their Epic.

We need to be able to see the due date (if present) on the card on the board without opening an issue as this greatly impacts being able to efficiently plan and triage work.
