As a Jira Software user, I want to be able to add watchers during the issue creation in next-gen projects

      Problem Definition

      Currently, the "Watchers" field isn't visible in the issue creation form of the next-gen projects. This prevents users to add watchers in the issue creation moment.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow the possibility to see the "Watchers" field in the issue creation form of next-gen projects.

            I believe this issue is a duplicate of JRACLOUD-5493 Ability to add watchers during issue creation

            I recommend that watchers of this issue vote on and watch the above issue. So that votes aren't split, I believe this ticket should be closed, but I will wait a week before taking any action in case anyone thinks both issues should continue to exist. Thank you!
