I've tried to screenshot and explain what I mean by this. The newer popup for profiles feels like it's getting in my way and being more annoying than I ever remember it being.

I think it's way too big for what it actually needs to show me (if anything! If there's such little detail, why even show it?). It also pops up straight away even when not needed. I'd expect that I'd have to hover over a profile link for a little longer than normal, just to get more detail.
