Show the Parent epic of a (child) issue when exporting a CSV file (or populate the 'Epic Link' column)

With classic project boards, downloading a CSV file gives an indication of the epic that stories are associated with. (Custom field (Epic Link)).

This allows for bespoke reports when aligning stories for various reasons (such as budgeting).

With Next Gen CSV downloads, the 'Epic Link' column is not populated, meaning it is not possible to find a 'Parent' Isuse', nor are there any other ways to sort-by-epic when managing CSV downloads unless an export is done for each epic.

Customers can query on Next-gen epics using the parent =. If you want to combine Epics from both project types, an example of such a query would be:
 "Epic Link" = NPC-6 OR parent = NJDP-5

The Parent field can now be selected as a column in the Global Issue Navigator and exported from Jira.

The linked issue has been heavily voted on and watched, but has gotten little traction and the suggested work around in the parent link does not work for me. To continue to leverage next-gen projects our team will likely need some resolution to this ticket.

In the mean time support has said we can put in a ticket and they pull the information and provide it to us.
