Command + Click on Issue Key to Open issue in new tab in team-managed projects

      Problem :

Ctrl+click does not open issues in a new tab for Team Managed Software Projects

      Steps to Reproduce :

      1. Open Team Managed Software project's board.
      2. Use Ctrl+click / cmd+click on any issue-key

      Expected Results

on click, the ticket should open in a new tab.

      Actual Results

ticket does not open in the new tab.

      Workaround

      None at the moment

      Notes

In classic Jira projects, holding command & clicking on the issue key on a card on a Jira board opens the issue in a new tab.

Command clicking while hovering on the key on a next-gen board selects the card. It would be nice to have this on next-gen boards as well.

Hey all, there has recently been a change to the issue key made to Team-managed boards (and the new Company-managed board currently under EAP) that adds an `<a>` tag and allows for the default browser context-menu to appear.

This means issue keys can now be right-clicked to open in a new tab/window, and middle-clicked (cmd+click for MacOS) to directly open in a new tab.

Will be resolving ticket as Fixed in light of this

I am currently control + clicking on a Github link in a comment. My expectation would be that this opens this in a new tab, but it is now.

Lack of this feature forced me to come back to classic project... Highly uncomfortable!

Yes, please! There have been exactly zero times when I wanted to see an issue as a sliver on the rightmost edge of my screen OR as an overlay. 100% of the time I'd like to open it in a new window/tab. The "new" (as in Coke) Jira experience is a usability nightmare for power users.
