Currently, the assignee avatar filter is of fixed size, and once the team is at size 8 it starts to fold with a 'more' button.

the page itself has much more room and it would be so much easier to work with all the team members appearing in the filter.

I suggest making the filter grow and shrink dynamically according to the space on the page,

or at least set a configuration to the size of the filter
