Problem Definition

Currently, versions are sorted according to the sequence they are added. This sequence can be updated by dragging and dropping versions on the Release page. However, this update needs to performed on each project, for each version.

Suggested Solution

On Release page there's the option to sort by other components but that setting is not permanent. An ideal solution would be making that sort configuration permanent.

Why this is important

If there are too many versions on a project, dragging and dropping them would be time consuming. Also, having the versions sorted by name turns the process of filling Fix version (and Affected version) field easier for the users.
