      Problem Definition

Currently, if you integrate Jira Cloud with Bitbucket Cloud, and add a repository link into a Jira software project, there is no Project setting to select or specify a default Bitbucket Repository.

When you create a bug and then want to work on fixing it by creating a new Branch from a Bitbucket Repository,  the repopulated list will give you all repositories that the current user has access to and it's easy to select a wrong repository and create a branch from there, this leads to mistakes and lost time.

      Suggested Solution

Give the users the ability to specify a default set of repositories per project in JIRA, this way users can avoid creating branches at the wrong repositories.
