Customizable Field in View Issue Pop Up Screen for Software Project

      Problem Definition

      For Jira Software projects, when the customer clicks on issue in the Board, it will bring up View Issue Pop Up Screen. The Fields are not customizable at present. Hence, if the customer would like to see more detail on the issue, he needs to click on View Full Details link.

      Suggested Solution

      To add the screen to allow the customer to customize the View Issue Pop Up Screen for Business Project. The screen will allow the customer to add more fields such as Linked Issue field or delete fields.

       

      Update 2018-1-24: Resolved

      This issue is resolved. User can add customizable field by the following procedure:

      1. open the project settings
      2. click Screens
      3. select the Scheme for the issue type
      4. click the screen link associated to "View issue" operation
      5. add the field from the dropdown in the bottom

      Though, user cannot change the order of the field shown.
      Please refer to JSWCLOUD-16538: allow user to reoder the fields shown in the issue detail pop-up of Kanban board for this issue and the workaround.
