    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Summary

Swimlane based on Queries stopped working after editing the default query Expedite.
By default Expedite query is on top of Everything Else query. When you edit this default Expedite query, Everything Else becomes on the top and you can't move it back to the bottom.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Kanban Board
      2. Configure the board to be based on Queries
      3. Edit the Expedite query
      4. Check the board

      Expected Results

      Issues are showing in Swimlanes

      Actual Results

Issues are not showing in Swimlanes

      Notes

You can't manually reorder Expedite to be on top of Everything Else after that

      Workaround #1

      1. Delete the Expedite edited query
      2. Create a new Expedite query, with the JQL you want to use
      3. Expedite query will be on top of Everything Else and swimlanes will work again.

      Workaround #2

      1. Create a new swimlane with any query, ex: priority = medium
      2. The newly created swimlane will be placed at the top
      3. Now you can drag the Expedite swimlane to be on top of the newly created swimlane
      4. Then, you can delete the swimlane which you've created
