      Problem Definition

It's not possible to make a Jira board public in Jira Cloud.

      Suggested Solution

Make it possible to a user to view the board accessing the board's URL without having to log in, by granting the Browse Project permission to Anyone group and setting the board as Shared with the public.

      Workaround

Access the instance's URL > Projects > View all projects > Select the project to view the issues.

I support this request as well as native functionality -
Trello and Roadmunk support this - I just want to make there be a view of the Jira board that i can share with individuals wihtin my org - IE Exec Leadership and other business leaders.

This feature should be worked on, this is literally already in data center and jira.atlassian.com (which runs on data center as far as i have seen)

How do you do exactly the same as what you are doing here with Jira Cloud?

I ended up writing a small script to sync (1-way) my Jira kanban board to a public trello board using these apis. Then schedule a job to trigger this regularly

            Hello

The only way I found is on the marketplace with "External Share for Jira". I can't understand that this popular feature on Trello is not on Jira...

I've been searching for solution of this as well. Have you found one? I also want to make my kanban board public for all departments in my company to view without the need of adding everyone into JIRA which bills per seat.

As the last resort, I might have to create a public Trello board and sync JIRA tickets over (1-way) using some automation script

Giving public access to kanban boards is a key functionality for us when developing open source software. We need to be able to show the progress and priorities of issues to our community who often have little incentive if any to create an Atlassian account. Not having this feature is working against the key openness of our projects.

Similar to Sabari, we need this feature as well, its nice ticket can be shared, the board is much more visible interms of the dynamic of the sprint!
