We require the IDs of the Story and Epic issue types for the reliable operation of our JIRA Software Cloud Add-on. Currently the only way to obtain them is to scan /rest/api/2/issuetype and try to find them by name or description. However all of the fields in each of these issue type objects are user editable and therefore unreliable.

To save us this heartache, it'd be amazing if we could obtain the IDs of the Story and Epic issue types in the JIRA Software Board api. i.e. /rest/agile/board/boardId/configuration
