latestReleasedVersion() in Advance Searching documentation is inconsistent

      Summary

      In this page, we can see that the latestReleasedVersion() only supports the IN and NOT IN operators. However, the example given in the documentation uses the = operator.

      When testing in JIRA 7.1.4, it looks like latestReleasedVersion() supports = and !=. When trying with IN and NOT IN, it doesn't work.

      Suggestion

      The supported operators and example should be tested and documentation should be updated to what is really supported. The following documentation should also be updated to reflect this
