      Version: JIRA Agile v7.1.11-D20

      Problem Definition

      For a user to have the ability to create and manage sprints they need the administer projects permission. However conceptually they really only need permission to create a sprint without having everything that the administer project permission entails.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow a create sprint permission to Permissions used in Agile boards: https://confluence.atlassian.com/agile/jira-agile-resources/jira-agile-faq/what-are-the-permissions-used-in-agile-boards

      Workaround

      Currently the only workaround is to give the user full blown access to administer projects.

          Suggestion - JSWCLOUD-5035 As a JIRA/GH administrator, I would like to be able to specify who is allowed to create and start a sprint independently from the "Administer Projects" JIRA permission
