We've created a custom field for adding multiple co-assignees to a task, and added it to the card display on our kanban board. We also use the dashboard widget that shows the board. The dashboard widget shows raw HTML instead of actual co-assignees.

The attached screen shots show that the card shows the co-assignee(s) properly on the actual board, and the other shows the problem on the dashboard widget.
