The documentation : Viewing an Issue mentions :

Click the issue key (or type t in the Active sprints/Kanban board) to display the Issue Detail View on the right-hand side of the screen.

However, the Issue Detail view opens up when you click anywhere on the card. Please update the documentation to reflect this.
