Description
Kanban board columns group together several workflow statuses. It would be nice to be able to re-use this mapping in a JQL function e.g. in issueInBoardColumn("board name", "board column"). This will simplify queries now having to include long clauses based on status field.
The same idea could also be expanded to create a calculated custom field to have the current kanban column of an issue as a field in issue navigator.
