Allow Epic Name to be added as details in Agile Card Layout for Kanban boards

      The ability to show epic names on epics is now available in JIRA Software Cloud.

      You will not need to make any changes to the board configuration as the labels appear on the cards based on:

      1. If the card is an epic then it will show its epic name
      2. If the card is assigned to an epic then it will show the epic name of the epic to which it is assigned.

      The card layout option for epic link on the card is no longer available since this functionality is already covered with epic labels.

      To toggle the visibility of epic labels use the option in the menu at the top-right of the board Hide epic labels/Show epic labels.

    Description

      With the latest new feature in JIRA Agile 6.6.0, user is able to add more information to the card using Card Layout feature. However, at the moment there is no option to add Epic Name as the additional details, and you will not able to add Epic Link to the Epic issue itself.

      We need the ability of seeing Epic Name in the card, to easily identify the Epic.
