Current behaviour:
There is currently no way of identifying who started a sprint.
Expected behaviour:
It would be helpful to have this information available in Jira Software e.g. by clicking on the Sprint details in the Work tab on a Board.
Workaround
Create automation like this one to log the user who started the sprint. We can also create a rule to send an email to the user who started the sprint. Follow an example in this video.
