Description
Summary
It appears that using the feature "Create Linked Issue" from a ticket that has an organization to another Service Desk project will throw "Invalid organization ids specified" Error Message if the same organization does not exist in the target project.
Steps to Replicate
- Have 2 Service Desk Project ready.
- Create an Organization to SD Project A
- In one of SD Project A, set the Organization to it.
- After it, use the "More > Create Linked Issue" and select SD Project B as the target.
- Click "Create"
Expected Result:
- The linked ticket will be created.
Actual Result:
- An error message "Invalid organization ids specified" will be thrown
Workaround
- Add the same Organization to SD Project B before creation.
Note:
- Tested in JIRA 7.6.0 and the error message will not appear with the linked issue is created.
- This will happen when the target project is an SD Project

Workaround
Remove the Organization field from the Issue creation screen on the project where the issue is being created.
